Air Pressure Regulator
Model #'s: 41 and 41N

The Air Pressure Regulator ensures a contant predetermined supply air pressure is maintained for use in pneumatic control systems or other pneumatic control components. The regulators operate on a force-balance principle so that a constant outlet pressure is generated even if inlet pressure varies, except when inet pressure falls below the regular setting.

The only difference between the two models is that the vent holes in the regulator body on the Model 41N are plugged so that no atmospheric venting of excessive air pressure occurs. This facilitates use of this regulator as a minimum signal generator in the variable output signal line of a flow or differental pressure transmitter. In this manner, the regulator generates a minimum pressure reference signal tht is constant regardless of the output pressure of an associated pneumatic transmitter, and does not effect the transmittter output pressure above the minimum.

Each model of the regulator is available in several configurations depending on the outlet pressure required. The only difference between regulator configurations is the strength of the regulator loading spring.
