The Maximum Signal Selector Relay selets the higher of two pneumatic input and transmits the higher signal to other control components in a pneumatic system. this instrument is used in General Regulator combustion control systems to ensure that the higher steam pressure from more than one boiler is applied to the steam pressure controller so that the controller may function to maintain steam pressure at setpoint.
