The Reversing Relay transmits an output signal which - generally speaking - is inversely proportional to its input signal. However, a one-to-one signal inversion is not a 'must' since adjustment of the loading spring can produce a variety of output-to-input signal ratios, e.g. 3 psig In - 15 psig Out; 3 psig In - 9 psig Out; 9 psig In - 3 psig Out.
