Airflow
Transmitter The Airflow Transmitter senses the pressure differential between windbox and furnace of a boiler and transmits a pneumatic signal that is characteristic of that differential to combustion control system components. A built-in square root extractor make the pneumatic output signal linear and proportional to combustion airflow at air velocities of less that 200 feet per second. Spring substition or changes in spring attachment can convert the characteristic response to a nonlinear signal if disired. The only difference between the two models is the type and size of the diaphragm chamber used to sense differential pressure. The Model 30244 transmitter operates with an input differential pressure range from 0 to 40 inches wc, whereas the model 80-480 transmitter operates with an input differential from 0 to 10 inches wc.
