The Pneumatic High Limit Relay is used in pneumatic systems as a pressure limiting device to prevent a system loading pressure from increasing above a maximum set value. The relay consists of a stacked assembly of machined discs with interspaced diaphragms and internal channels forming pressure chambers and chamber interconnections. A threaded spring adjuster located in the top or spring housing adjusts the tension of the loading spring that positions a vlave seat on a spring loaded valve plunger. Output response and maximum signal transmission are selected for a given input by loading spring tension. Connections are furnished for input signals, output signal, supply air, and test lines.
