Pneumatic Single-Acting Actuator

The Pneumatic Actuator which changes the flow of a controlled variable, such as combustion air, through positioning of a mechanical damper or the speed control valve of a blower turbine. The actuator responds to a pneumatic input signal which it uses to position its output shaft accurately. The shaft can also be adjusted manually.

The basic actuator is supplied without an airlock. To expand operational capability, however, an air lock may be added by simply bolting it to the basic structure. A minor modification is then required.
