Vent and Reset Valve

The Vent and Reset Valve is a manually operated, spring-loaded, on-off pneumatic switch used in pneumatic systems to transfer a pneumatic signal, or vent a trapped signal before manually positioning final control elements.

The valve, shown below, consists of a ported one valve chamber, reset button and valve stem-pilot assembly. The top of the valve chamber is necked and threaded to accept a jamnut that secures the valve assembly in place on an instrument panel or mounting bracket. Input and output connections on the valve chamber are 1/8 inch internal NPT.
