The Front-Mounted Marine Flame Detector provides a reliable means of flame detection by sensing ultraviolet radiation produced in the primary combustion zone of a flame. The detector is used within a remote amplifier and checking device to ensure continuouse safe flame monitoring. The detector is attached to a mounting tube which extends through the furnace windbox for an unobstructed view of the flame.
